San Benito Islands
At San Benito Island we can expect cooler water temperatures around the mid 60’s. Definitely bring your 7mm suits. Weather can be anywhere from warm and sunny to cold and breezy. Evening temps drop off even more. Pole fishing at night will be an option so if your planning on spending some time on deck at night, bring a warm jacket.
Alijos Rocks
At Alijos Rocks we can expect warmer water temperatures which bring in the Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Dorado. Water temps will range anywhere from the high 60’s to the low or mid 70’s. If the water is on the warmer side, 5mm suits or a 3mm suit with a warm hooded vest might be plenty but it’s good to have a 7mm suit as an option.
Due to it’s far offshore location, weather here can range from comfortably warm to cool and breezy.
